Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, today announces the expansion of its research and development center in Penang, Malaysia. Opened originally in 2022, the center has moved to larger premises in the city and has added functionality including a state-of-the-art testing lab and anechoic chamber, alongside manufacturing facilities in the center. The expansion enables Quectel to provide tailored and off-the-shelf products and services to its APAC and global customers in the future.
Designed with a focus on providing training, support, and exceptional customer services, the Quectel R&D center currently includes shielding rooms, an anechoic chamber, and an array of RF testing capabilities. These resources significantly enhance innovation and customer support, underscoring Quectel's unwavering commitment to provide exceptional, customized and value-added services, further elevating its capabilities to serve its growing IoT customer base.
